Magic Endoscope: an inspection workflow for Android
An inspection camera is useful only when its software can connect, display a stable picture, and save the result. Magic Endoscope brings those steps together for compatible USB and Wi-Fi probes on Android.
Magic Endoscope requires Android 10 or newer. USB setup depends on the phone supporting USB host mode, the camera using a supported protocol, and the required permissions being granted. A USB-C connector alone does not establish compatibility.
Choose a USB camera or join a supported Wi-Fi probe hotspot to open the live preview. Capture photos and videos, add optional overlays, and review saved media in the gallery.
The on-screen ruler uses a scale entered by the user. It is a visual annotation, not an independent measurement of physical dimensions. A change in camera distance, viewing angle, or object depth can invalidate the scale.
The intended workflow is practical inspection: mechanical maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, and workshop checks. Test your camera and review sample captures before relying on the setup for a job.
Camera models and firmware vary. If a connection fails, send support your phone model, Android version, probe model, connection type, and the step where setup stops. These details help us assess compatibility.
Free mode lets you check camera compatibility and the capture workflow. Pro is a one-time $4.99 purchase with unlimited photos and clips, no clip length cap, and no watermark. There is no subscription.
Magic Endoscope is currently in private Google Play testing. Use the contact page to request access or share a practical inspection requirement. Access and supported devices depend on the current test programme.
