What is on your phone, and how to delete it
Your photos and videos. Delete them in the app’s gallery, or in your phone’s own gallery or file manager, exactly as you would any other picture.
Note that uninstalling the app does not delete your captures. That is deliberate: Android treats saved photos and videos as your media rather than as app data, so removing the app leaves them where they are. If you want them gone, delete the files as well as the app.
Captions. A note attached to a photo is stored with that photo. Deleting the photo deletes the note.
Your settings, daily counters, and the record of whether this installation owns Pro. Uninstalling Magic Endoscope destroys all of it. You can also clear it without uninstalling, from your phone’s settings: Apps → Magic Endoscope → Storage → Clear storage.
Location. We never receive it and never store it, so there is nothing on our side to delete. If you switched location stamping on, the place name was printed into the pictures themselves — see the privacy policy for what that means. Deleting a stamped picture is the only way to remove that stamp, because it is part of the image.
The one thing you cannot delete yourself
If you bought the Pro upgrade, a record of that purchase is held by Google Play and by RevenueCat, the service that manages purchases for us. It is tied to a random identifier for your installation — not to your name, your email, or your Google account.
We cannot delete those records directly, but we will pass your request to them and confirm when they have acted on it.
Request deletion of your purchase record
Email us with the subject Data deletion request. Tell us roughly when you bought Pro, and include your Google Play order number if you still have the receipt — it makes the record much easier to find, since we have no name or email to search by. We reply within 30 days.
Deleting your purchase record also removes proof that you paid, so Restore Purchase will stop working and you would have to buy Pro again to get it back. Ask us if you would rather keep the record but just have a question about it — that costs you nothing.
