Which cameras are supported?
The listed brands are tested examples, not limits. Any USB UVC endoscope over OTG is supported — this covers the large family of generic USB-C inspection cameras. For Wi-Fi, any probe streaming standard MJPEG works, including APPOTECH AX3268, Inskam YPC99, and no-name units. If it presents a standard video stream, it works. If yours doesn't connect, let us know — device coverage grows with every update.
What Android version do I need?
Android 8.0 or newer, with USB OTG support for cable-connected probes. Wi-Fi probes work on any supported device.
Is there an iOS version?
Not yet. Magic Endoscope is Android-only at v1. iOS USB-camera access is more restricted; we'll evaluate it based on demand.
What happens to my footage?
It stays on your device. The app is offline-first and requires no account. Nothing is uploaded; you export captures yourself via the gallery.
How do I export recordings?
From the gallery: select one or more items and share them, or save to an SD card, OTG drive, or a custom folder you choose.
Is the $4.99 a subscription?
No. It is a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro on that device for good. No recurring charges, no per-seat licensing.
