From a live feed to a documented capture
The same seven steps every time, so a capture from one technician reads the same way as a capture from another.
Plug in a USB probe or join a Wi-Fi probe's hotspot from the connection screen. Works with compatible UVC USB cameras and supported Wi-Fi probes.
Confirm the feed before committing to a capture — a steady, lit image, not a frozen or dark one.
Drop a ruler over the feature you need to record — a crack, a gap, a worn edge, a bore surface.
Set the ruler's scale against a known length already in the frame — a bolt head, a pipe diameter, a gauge block.
Save the photo with the ruler and dimensions burned into the file. Pro saves every capture this way; Free includes it for your first 10 saved captures, then switches to a watermark with the ruler left out.
Attach a short note to the capture in the gallery — what it shows, where it was taken, what happens next.
Send the photo or clip straight from the gallery — to a customer, a supervisor, or the job file.
Rulers are scaled by hand against a known length you choose in the frame. Magic Endoscope does not measure physical dimensions automatically.
